Our mission is to provide groceries on an emergency basis to families and individuals who have found themselves in a state of crisis.

Located at 307 Smith Street in McKinney, The community food pantry of McKinney is a non-profit outreach program that provides food to families and individuals in need. We are not bound by any geographical scope. Our primary goal is to insure that no one goes to bed hungry.

History:

The Community Food Pantry of McKinney was formed 32 years ago as an all-volunteer organization to provide groceries and referrals to families and individuals in need. In 2008, groceries were provided to prepare over 147,320 meals. Those meals fed over 4,555 families that included 7,829 children and 6,903 adults. This organizations remains all-volunteer.

The food pantry provided food for 559 families including 949 children in the month of August alone.
